SAP Build Work Zone is an intuitive digital workplace solution that provides all employees with a clear overview of the applications and information they need. In other words, it is the digital point of contact that provides SAP users within their organization with the easiest possible access to the systems and services that are relevant to their work. It no longer matters whether you work on a desktop PC, tablet or smartphone. Best of all, the mutual integration of Microsoft Teams with SAP Build Work Zone and vice versa is officially supported by both vendors.

Advanced Edition
In addition to the Standard Edition: Integration of unstructured content, such as web content, documents, texts, images and multimedia elements, as well as interactive workspaces ("Collaboration Rooms" or "Workspaces"), which can be created by the users themselves!

Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is a further development of the previously known SAP Launchpad Service on the SAP BTP. This "entry-level" version provides you with the basic functional scope of a Digital Workplace, which in its current form looks like an SAP Fiori Launchpad, but already runs fully on the SAP BTP.
The new version of SAP Build Work Zone Standard, announced for Q3/2023, will also include a significantly expanded range of functions: An improved menu structure enables the use of multiple Launchpad pages and the so-called UI integration cards in SAP Fiori design will be supported. As an administrator, pages can be designed and filled simply by drag & drop (with elements from prefabricated business packages or self-developed UI integration cards).

Advanced Edition
The Advanced Edition, formerly SAP Work Zone, offers additional advanced functionality beyond the standard for content management, web content, interactive and engaging workspaces, an enhanced menu structure, and integration with third-party solutions. The Advanced Edition is an all-encompassing platform with significantly more functionality and customizability options. It offers a modern and practical user interface that allows consistent and efficient work in the context of SAP processes: With the help of the SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori design as well as new technologies such as chatbots and feed conversations, users can easily interact, collaborate, and share information and documents.
