Module
News Cockpit

Central cockpit for end users to display messages, including the choice of different display variants, search, filtering and personalization options. The information displayed in the cockpit and the cockpit functions can be configured for specific companies. The cockpit can be integrated into various front-ends such as SAP Work Zone Standard, SAP Work Zone Advanced, Microsoft Teams or SAP Enterprise Portal. Several cockpits can be configured on request in order to map different business use cases in the company at the same time.

Editorial Cockpit

Enables the simple recording and editing of information objects. These are based on technical information types. In addition to the VANTAiO standard information types, you can define your own information types. Information objects are kept in two versions - a working version and a published live version. Publication takes place specifically for each information type via an optional approval workflow that can be adapted to individual requirements.

Frontend API

Universal API library that makes it possible to develop individual front ends such as SAPUI5 cards, widgets or “freestyle” representations for displaying information objects. Based on this library, the information objects can be integrated into solutions such as an intranet, HR portal or SAP specialist applications. The API can be accessed from any SAP and non-SAP platforms.

TV Display

Display any messages and content on large-format TV sets or media screens. Employees are provided with all important information as they pass by. The content is integrated without the need for double entry, recorded directly via the editorial cockpit or automatically connected via interfaces. All connected devices are managed centrally in the administration area. There is no further maintenance required for display on the TV sets. Only a Raspberry Pi or mini PC is required on the TV set itself to display the information objects. The product includes a world clock and a weather display.

Due to their urgency, companies need to communicate important messages particularly quickly and in a visually striking way. This includes, for example, alarm messages, short-term outages or disruptions to the working environment as well as extraordinary company messages that generally affect all employees. For this type of information, you can choose from a wide range of symbols for visualization.

Congratulations

Employee recognition and appreciation are important components of modern corporate governance and professional HR management. This information type makes it easy to publish appealing congratulatory messages. It can be used flexibly for various private events or internal company awards. These include, for example, birthdays, weddings, the birth of a child, company anniversaries, promotions or special project successes. The associated images are saved once in the media management system. Optionally (project extension), a central company directory or the HR system can be connected.

RSS

Many external information providers also make their information available for connection or integration in other systems. The RSS format is often used for this purpose. This is a universal format in which images can be transferred in addition to text. The options available depend on the source. In some cases, corresponding costs are also incurred (license payments). RSS messages can be displayed with this message type. Please note that the corresponding connector is required for this (Connector Web - RSS) or an individual connector is required as project work.

Job advertisement

Companies need to effectively communicate current job vacancies internally, i.e., make them known to employees. The aim is to show employees a career path within the group if they are considering a change, or to increase the number of employees recommending external applicants. This type of information can be created both editorially and automatically. As soon as a job advertisement has been changed in the recruiting system, such as SuccessFactors, the card appears in the employee's information cockpit after a few seconds.

System messages

Employees need to know when an IT system is unavailable (maintenance). This can be a proactive message (“maintenance”) or ad hoc information. With this type of information, users can organize themselves in good time and plan or reschedule their work accordingly. Depending on the information, an optional read confirmation is possible. This results in a reduced number of help desk requests, especially on days when the service is not available. No distractions for the technical team - everyone knows. This makes things faster. Improved IT reputation through service orientation.

Event information

Employees need information about training in their respective areas of responsibility and interest. In particular, more and more digital services need to be supported with regard to their onboarding.
Employees often do not have a central information system where all training or further education courses are displayed. As a result, events are not fully booked. Especially if the training courses are held online, there are no additional costs due to more participants. The “Event notice” information type informs all employees about upcoming events. The information objects contain all the information about the content, the target group and the prerequisites.

Video-Reference

Today, information is increasingly conveyed in video format instead of text and images. The videos differ in length, presentation and professionalism. The latest news from the Management Board is conveyed in a short video message, while training documents are played out in a long format as a screen recording. Companies use different storage systems for the videos. These can be publicly accessible video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) or internal systems. This information type can be used to reference videos from a platform. The corresponding player is used here.

Visual Link

Companies publish information in various media such as the corporate website or social media channels. However, employees do not necessarily follow the relevant platforms and do not receive this information or changes to the information. This type of information therefore makes it possible to quickly draw attention to specific external information. Selected topics can be brought into focus or “promoted” for various reasons. The effort required by editors is low. Only the most important information from the source needs to be summarized and this process can also be supported by AI.

Microsoft Teams

Integration of the iNFOHUB® message cockpit as a separate app directly in Microsoft Teams. All information is thus available directly alongside chats, online sessions and exchange groups. If desired (configuration), users are informed about new information in the message cockpit in the Microsoft Teams activity feed. To use the package, a license for the iNFOHUB® - News Cockpit module is required.

Connector
SAP SuccessFactors – Job advertisements

When a new job advertisement is created or an existing job advertisement is changed in SAP SuccessFactors, a new information object is automatically generated and displayed to users via this connector. It is also possible to place selected job advertisements prominently. This connector increases the visibility of internal job advertisements among employees and optimizes the recruiting process.

Web RSS

This connector enables the automated creation of information objects with content from regularly updated websites such as blogs, news portals or podcasts. With the Web RSS Connector, any number of RSS sources can be connected and their content can be played out to your own employees without additional editorial effort
