Lecture tip: The new Migros Supplier Net (DE)

February 4, 2021 - Presentation at the DSAG Technology Days

"Hyperchange! IT in the new reality" is the motto of the virtual DSAG Technology Days on February 3 and 4, 2021.

The pandemic requires companies to make quick decisions in an environment characterized by great uncertainty. Economic pressure is increasing, the eco-system of many companies is being put to the test, and at the same time the technological environment is changing rapidly. For many, an S/4HANA conversion is associated with far-reaching changes - in the digital core and beyond. Hyperchange - simultaneous changes in multiple dimensions. This brings with it many current topics and at least as many questions. At the Technology Days, DSAG wants to find answers for this!

With our customer, the Migros Group, we will be on site with an interesting presentation on the second day of the event:

"The new Migros Supplier Net - next level efficiency through highly personalized supplier communication".

Date: Thursday, 04.02.2021, time to be announced
Location: online

Speakers:
Simone Walsh, Head of SupplierNet, Migros
Conrad Rolack, Head of Support, VANTAiO

Abstract: In 2019, a new extranet platform - Migros SupplierNet - was implemented for integrated communication with suppliers of the cooperative retail trade based on various SAP technologies. Migros SupplierNet includes requirements, guidelines and tools necessary for collaboration. Particular highlights of the system are the highly customizable/personalizable content offering due to supplier heterogeneity, automatic notification functions, AI-supported keywording, and extensive content management functions. The solution has been in productive use since November 2019.

Information on Migros: With a turnover of 28.7 billion Swiss francs (2019), Migros Group is the largest retail company and the largest private employer in Switzerland with over 106,000 employees. Migros is owned by over 2 million cooperative members who are organized into ten regional cooperatives. These operate Migros' core business, retail trade. Migros also owns 32 industrial companies, various trading, travel and logistics companies, and Migros Bank. Migros is committed to social and cultural issues out of conviction and voluntarily. Its primary goal is to improve the quality of life of its customers - living better every day.
