The largest and most important event of the German-speaking SAP user group was again able to register a record attendance: More than 5,000 visitors attended the world's most important SAP user meeting, and the exhibition halls were fuller than ever. Priority was given to experiences and thoughts for the IT architecture of the future. Many SAP customers are apparently "in the starting blocks" for concrete projects and in the middle of the process of forming opinions and preparing them.
At VANTAiO, interested SAP customers learned how innovative portal solutions and apps can support them on their way to digitization – in line with VANTAiO philosophy consistently ready-to-run and ready for immediate use, based on SAP NetWeaver, SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Jam. In many lively conversations, everything revolved around digital workplaces, HR portals, service portals, supplier portals and more.
In the context of the lecture program, these solutions became very concrete: In the working group portals, the VANTAiO customer Vaillant Group presented the exciting practical report: "Collaboration Integration in Vaillant Social GroupNET – Atlassian Confluence, Salesforce Chatter & Skype for Business for the SAP Portal".
The entertainment factor was also taken care of. Under the motto "Dialog & Dine", VANTAiO and partner Egnyte invited to a varied theme evening about SAP portals and enterprise file sharing. In the impressive atmosphere of the Porsche Center Leipzig, the guests spent a nice evening with ample opportunity for networking and exchange.
But even at the VANTAiO booth itself, things got really hectic: Chris Marks, multiple world champion in table football, created a great atmosphere and a permanent "full house". The variety of lectures and specialist topics was very welcome with the trade fair visitors – and not only the recipients of the 10 raffled football mini-kickers could feel like a winner.
